Day - Itineray

Tipon:Â This ancient Inca town is located about 14 miles away. Southeast of the Inca capital.
It has important hydraulic works such as fountains and their beautiful canals; for the water distribution system to each embankment. That still exists, the quality of the work is admirable.
Piquillacta:Â It is located southeast of the city of Cusco, 18.6 miles away. It covers 8502 acres, of land in the districts of Oropesa, Lucre, and Andahuaylillas in the province of Quispicanchis.
Piquillacta is a village of the Wari people. Wari was the center village, and other cities like Pikillaqta were influenced by it. The Wari also inhabited many other sites around the area. It was occupied from about 550 to 1100 AD. Its primary use was for ceremonies.

AndahuAylillas: Is located 35 km southeast of the city of Cusco along the paved road that leads to the region of Puno.
Formerly the name of this city was Antawaylla.
The "Sistine Chapel" of America: The San Pedro de Andahuaylillas church is the main attraction for visitors whose interior contains a fabulous collection of Cuzqueña painting, which has an attractive wall painting dating from the late 16th century to the beginning of the 17th century. Baroque altarpieces churriguerescos bathed in gold leaf; in this temple, you can appreciate the famous pentalingue door.
The Plaza de Armas de Andahuaylillas: The immense Plaza de Armas is surrounded by leafy Pisonay trees (or coral trees) and palm trees. It is considered one of the most beautiful squares in the region.
