The Inca Jungle 4D/3N begins with an exhilarating mountain biking descent from the Abra Málaga Pass (4,316 m/14,160 ft), where you’ll ride through cloud forests and lush valleys. After an action-packed ride, those who seek more adventure can enjoy optional white-water rafting in the Urubamba River before settling in for the night in Santa MarÃa.
On the second day, we hike along ancient Inca trails, passing through coffee plantations, waterfalls, and stunning jungle scenery until we reach the charming town of Santa Teresa, where you can relax in the famous Cocalmayo hot springs.
The third day offers an adrenaline rush with an exciting zip-lining experience before continuing our trek to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu. This final stretch is a scenic hike along the train tracks, surrounded by lush greenery and towering mountains.

Travel Itinerary
DAY 1 - Cusco – Abra Málaga – Santa MarÃa

07:00 am Pick up from hotels or hostels.
08:00 am Transfer from Cusco to Abra Malaga.
11:00 am. Descent of the Abra Málaga by mountain bike for 2 hours.
2:00 pm Arrival and accommodation at the hostel in Santa MarÃa.
2:20 pm Lunchtime.
After lunch (optional) rafting on the Vilcanota River for 2 hours.
7:00 pm Dinner and overnight.
DAY 2 - Santa MarÃa – Santa Teresa

07:00 am Breakfast.
08:00 am Start of the walk to the town of Santa Teresa.
1:00 pm Lunch and then continue the walk.
4:30 pm Arrival to the thermal baths of Cocalmayo / 40 minutes to Santa Teresa.
Optional: Cocalmayo thermal baths
Accommodation in the hostel in Santa Teresa.
7:00 pm dinner and overnight.
DAY 3 - Santa Teresa – Hidroeléctrica – Aguas Calientes

06:00 am Breakfast.
07:00 am Local bus from Santa Teresa to Hidroeléctrica (45 minutes approx.).
Optional: Zipline and transfer to Hydroelectric.
1:00 pm Lunch in Hydroelectric.
2:00 pm Start of the trek to Aguas Calientes (10 km 3 hours long).
5:30 pm Accommodation in the Aguas Calientes at a hostel.
8:00 pm Dinner and a review of the activities for the next day, by the guide.
DAY 4 - Machu Picchu – Ollantaytambo – Cusco

04:30 am Start the hike to Machu Picchu from Agaus Calientes (1 hour and 30 min).
Optional: bus up to Machu Picchu (25 minutes long).
06:00 am Guided tour in the citadel of Machu Picchu for 2 hours.
08:30 am Free time to explore and take photos.
Coordinate with the guide the return hike back down to Aguas Calientes.
Optional: bus down to Aguas Calientes.
Board the Aguas Calientes train to Ollantaytambo, depending on the train ticket schedule you have.
Transportation from Ollantaytambo to Cusco.
