The Choquequirao Trek 4D/3N begins with an early pick-up at 3:00 a.m. from your hotel or hostel, followed by a scenic four-hour drive to Capuliyoc, where you will enjoy breakfast (not included) before starting the trek. As you descend towards Chiquisca, you will be captivated by the stunning landscapes of the canyon and the majestic Padrelloc Glacier. After lunch and a short rest in Chiquisca, the journey continues, crossing the Apurímac River and ascending to Marampata, where dinner and camp await.
Day two starts early, with a two-hour hike to Choquequirao, where you will explore the magnificent archaeological site with a guided tour and free time to wander through its ancient terraces and temples. After lunch in the open esplanade, the trek back to Marampata begins, where we will camp for the night.
On the third day, after breakfast, we descend for three hours, cross the Apurímac River again, and then ascend on horseback to Chiquisca for lunch. The hike continues uphill to Capuliyoc, where we will camp and enjoy a farewell dinner with our trekking team.
The final day of the Choquequirao Trek 4D/3N offers an optional trek to Cachora before returning to Cusco by minivan, arriving around 2:00 p.m.. Join us for this once-in-a-lifetime adventure!
