From Hidroeléctrica, we embark on a scenic walk along the train tracks, immersing ourselves in the lush jungle until we reach Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night.
On the second day, we wake up early to begin the exciting journey to Machu Picchu, either by bus or a short hike. Once inside the ancient citadel, you’ll explore its mystical temples, terraces, and plazas, learning about the fascinating history of the Inca Empire while admiring the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. After an unforgettable morning, we return to Hidroeléctrica to board our transport back to Cusco.

Travel Itinerary
DAY 1 - Cusco – Santa Teresa – Hidroeléctrica
7:00 am We will pick you up at your hotel or lodging.
Transfer from Cusco to Santa Teresa.
1:00 pm Lunch.
3:30 pm Arrive at hydroelectric for the start of the walk to Aguas Calientes Approx time 2 hrs and 30 minutes long.
Accommodation in the hostel in hot waters.
7:00 pm Dinner and briefing with the guide
(Indication of the itinerary and recommendations for day 2).
DAY 2 - Machu Picchu – Hidroeléctrica – Cusco
04:00 am start of the walk to the citadel of Machu Picchu.
06:00 am the group meets for the beginning of the tour in Machu Picchu.
Guided tour for 2 hours.
Free time in Machu Picchu.
11:30 am Start the descent back to hydroelectric.
2:30 pm group meets again at Hydroelectric for the return to Cusco.
9:30 pm Approx. Arrival to the city of Cusco (Plaza San Francisco).
